A+ Certification Program


A+ Certification is a testing program sponsored by CompTIA that certifies the competency of entry-level service technicians in the computer industry. Anyone who wants an internationally recognized credential as a competent entry-level computer service professional can take the A+ examination.

Earning A+ certification means that the individual possesses the knowledge, technical skills, and customer relations skills essential for a successful entry-level computer service technician, as defined by experts from companies across the industry.

A+ Certification provides a solid foundation in desktop operating systems and PC hardware maintenance and upgrading. This program also prepares participants for the A+ exam.

At+ Certification training is valuable to any company with a desire or need to build skills for desktop computer maintenance and upgrades.

PC Hardware Fundamentals:
This training is designed as a basic theory class on the fundamentals of computer technology.

Desktop Operating Systems:
This training is focused on the desktop operating systems from DOS to Windows 2003 and Linux, including installation of the operating systems and troubleshooting installation problems, installation of device drivers for adapter cards and basic applications.

Hardware Essentials:
This training is focused on the hardware essentials of installation of device drivers for adapter cards and basic applications, upgrading system components.

Test Preparation:
This training is designed to prepare the participants to take the actual A+ examinations.
